The ideas presented by youth through the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2027 will be included in the upcoming Budget, said Shri Anvesh Chinthala, State Director, MY Bharat, Telangana, during a state-level press meet organised at CGO Towers, Kavadiguda. MY Bharat, Government of India, is organising the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue Programme 2027 to provide young people across the country with an opportunity to contribute their ideas, perspectives and innovative solutions towards building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Anvesh Chinthala, State Director, MY Bharat, Telangana, stated that the programme is being organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and is open to youth belonging to the age group of 15–29 years as on 17 August 2026. Selected youth will get an opportunity to present their ideas before domain experts, Union Ministers and the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

 

Furthermore, he said that the selection process begins with an online quiz comprising 20 questions. Shortlisted participants will progress through subsequent stages, including an essay-writing competition and district-level PPT presentations, followed by the State-level VBYLD. The programme provides opportunities for youth to participate through six major tracks: Viksit Bharat Challenge, Cultural Track, Design for Bharat, Hack for Social Cause, Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge and Youth Parliament.

“Focusing on the State-level Viksit Bharat Young Leaders PPT Competition, Southern Gateway – Technology, Innovation and Future Readiness is the theme for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Participants will showcase their ideas related to technology and innovation, future readiness and creating employability. The State Government will finally select 70 members from the State out of 3 lakh youth,” he added.

Shri Venu Gopal Rao, Joint Director, Youth Services, MY Bharat, Telangana, stated that the programme is targeting the population of 3 lakh youth from Telangana and urged youth to take part in the initiative. Participants will be encouraged to identify local challenges and develop technology-driven and innovative solutions at the district level. Selected participants will progress to the State-level VBYLD, where they will present their ideas through a five-minute PPT presentation before the State Jury.

The registration is free. Selected candidates who qualify through the district- and state-level competitions will get an opportunity to participate in the National VBYLD in New Delhi. The selection process will include around 70 students from Telangana State. Accommodation will be provided to selected participants as per the arrangements made by the concerned authorities. The quiz will close on 30 September 2026. He appealed to the media to disseminate information about the programme and encourage youth participation.
