Staff Selection Commission has published Notification for "Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026" on 10 september 2026. The Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment of Sub- Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces. Candidates from all parts of the country are eligible to apply subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility conditions.

The detailed Recruitment Notice containing information regarding the details of post, age limit, essential educational qualification, fee payable, scheme of examination, how to apply, terms and conditions and other relevant details is available on the Commission's official website ssc.gov.in. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the application fee.

The eligible candidates may submit their application online from 10 september 2026 till 30 september 2026 (upto 11:00 PM) through the Commission's website ssc.gov.in or 'mySSC' app in Android Phones. The last date for submission of online applications is 30 september 2026 (11.00 PM) and last date for making online fee payment is 01 october 2026 (11:00 PM).

Date of Computer Based Examination will be notified by the Commission later. In Southern Region, Computer Based Examination will be held in 24 Centers/Cities in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Union Territory of Puducherry.
