The Income Tax Department, Indore will organise the 20th tranche of the Rozgar Mela on 19 September 2026 at Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore, at 12: 30 PM. Appointment letters will be handed over to newly selected candidates recruited in various Ministries, Departments and organisations of the Government of India.
Smt. Savitri Thakur, Hon'ble Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Government of India, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and will ceremonially hand over the appointment letters to the new recruits. Shri Shankar Lalwani, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Indore, will also be present on the occasion. Smt. Mona Mohanty, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Region, will also attend the programme. From the Income Tax Department, Indore, Shri Tarun Seem, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Indore, and Shri Pravin Rawal, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax-1, Indore, will also be present on the occasion.
The Rozgar Mela at Indore will witness the participation of recruits selected in multiple organisations of the Government of India, being created through mission-mode recruitment across various Departments and organisations.
The Rozgar Mela is being conducted pursuant to the Prime Minister's commitment to accord the highest priority to employment generation. The initiative is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in nation-building.
The Hon’ble Prime Minister will address the newly recruited candidates across the country through video conferencing. The programme will be telecast live at the venue in Indore as well as on DD News.
The Rozgar Mela, Indore will bring the newly recruited candidates and participating departments on a common platform and highlight the opportunities public service offers to the new generation of government employees.
