The Ministry of Ayush will host the 11th Ayurveda Day celebrations tomorrow in Nagpur under the theme “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow (स्वस्थ भविष्य के लिए आयुर्वेद)”. Ayurveda institutions, practitioners and stakeholders will participate in the celebrations across India and worldwide.

The national programme at Nagpur will witness the launch of the first-ever Report on the “Ayush Services Sector”, prepared by the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), providing an assessment of the Ayush services sector. The programme will also feature the launch of Safety Dossiers on Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) and Chandrasura (Lepidium sativum), Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) on Skin Disorders, and other initiatives and publications aimed at strengthening evidence, research, innovation and community wellbeing in Ayurveda.

The programme will also witness the launch of “From Traditional Wisdom to Global Leadership: Ayush Vision 2030” Report, the Status Report on Ayush-related Inventions in India, and the CCRAS–AGNI (Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences – Ayurveda Gyan Naipunya Initiative) Assessment Scale Web Portal.

The event will feature two scientific sessions. Scientific Session I, titled “Shashwatam to Vishwas - Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow and the Road to 2047”, and Scientific Session II, titled “Integrating Therapies is needed to reduce NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Burden by 2027”.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Ayush, representatives of the Councils and various Ayush institutions will be present at the event. The celebrations will bring together key stakeholders from across the Ayurveda ecosystem, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and wider engagement.

The 11th Ayurveda Day celebrations will highlight the importance of evidence, research and innovation in strengthening Ayurveda and advancing community wellbeing. The nationwide and worldwide observance will reinforce the focus on Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow.
