Celebrating Stories, Cinema and Global Voices: IFFI 2026 Invites Media Persons to Goa; Media Accreditation Open Now!

Cinema takes center stage in Panaji, Goa, as the 57th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) returns from 20 to 28 November 2026. Bringing together filmmakers, cinema professionals, journalists and film enthusiasts from India and across the world, IFFI will celebrate the magic of storytelling, the diversity of cinematic expression and the creative spirit that connects audiences across cultures.

The festival will showcase diverse stories and perspectives through film screenings, discussions, filmmaker interactions and networking opportunities, creating a dynamic platform for ideas, conversations and collaborations. As Goa gets ready to host this grand celebration of cinema, IFFI will offer a unique space for creative exchange and meaningful engagement among the global film community.

Media professionals play a vital role in amplifying the reach and visibility of IFFI each year. Through news reports, interviews, reviews, features and digital coverage, the media helps bring the festival’s films, events and conversations to audiences across India and around the world. It helps celebrate diverse artists and their art. IFFI values the continued participation of the media in the festival which is instrumental in creating wider awareness and building public engagement with IFFI and with creative expression.

Media Accreditation Opens on 1st October

Media professionals planning to cover the 57th International Film Festival of India 2026 (IFFI) may register as Media Delegate through the official Press Information Bureau (PIB) accreditation portal: https://accreditation.pib.gov.in/eventregistration/login.aspx

The media accreditation window has opened today, on 1 October 2026, and the last date for registration is 15 October 2026.

Accredited media professionals will have access to various festival activities, including:

  • Film screenings
  • Panel discussions
  • Interactions with filmmakers and cinema professionals
  • Networking opportunities
  • Other activities related to festival coverage

Media delegates are advised to carefully read the accreditation guidelines before submitting their applications. Applicants must provide valid identity proof, professional credentials, active contact numbers and email addresses, along with any other supporting documents as required on the accreditation portal.

  • Photograph
  • Government Identity Proof
  • PIB or State Government Accreditation Card/ Organization’s ID + Editor’s Letter
  • Proof of work in the relevant field

Key Information

Media professionals who are already registered on the portal for previous edition (56th) of IFFI, can use the same credentials to log in and update their documents as required.

Apply early to secure your place at one of Asia’s most celebrated film festivals, connect with voices shaping the world of cinema, discover stories beyond the screen and be part of IFFI’s vibrant celebration of filmmaking, creativity and culture. The first 50 successful registrations will also be eligible for a complementary workshop on Film Appreciation on 19th November 2026 in Panaji!
