BSNL celebrated its 26th Foundation Day on 1st October 2026 with the theme “Namma BSNL”, reaffirming its commitment to providing quality, safe, reliable and affordable telecom services to its customers.

Shri B.Sudhakara Rao , Chief General Manager, BSNL Chennai Telephones has said that the celebrations  highlight BSNL’s significant contribution to Digital India and nation building, including the deployment of indigenous 4G technology and the 4G Saturation sites, aimed at strengthening digital connectivity, particularly in remote rural areas.

As a mark of appreciation for the enduring trust of its customers, Shri Sundara Swamy, a loyal and long-standing BSNL customer, was felicitated in recognition of his continued association with BSNL over the years. He was appreciated by the Chief General Manager, BSNL Chennai Telephones, for his longstanding association and continued trust in BSNL.

Through the “Namma BSNL” campaign, BSNL reiterates its commitment to serving the nation with dependable, affordable and technologically advanced telecom services, while building stronger and enduring relationships with its customers.
