Ministry of Steel undertakes Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters 6

The Ministry of Steel and its Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) are actively participating in the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 6, being conducted from 2nd October to 31st October 2026.
The Preparatory Phase of the campaign, from 15th September to 30th September 2026, has been completed. During this phase, the Ministry and its CPSEs completed the necessary preparations and set targets for the Implementation Phase.
During the Implementation Phase from 2nd October to 31st October 2026, the Ministry and its CPSEs will focus on the following activities:
- Cleanliness Campaign: 301 cleanliness activities will be undertaken at various offices and locations.
- Disposal of Files: Efforts will be made to dispose of 20,763 physical files and 9,056 e-files.
- Public Grievances: Special focus will be given to the disposal of 37 pending public grievances, with the aim of bringing the pendency down to zero.
The campaign will focus on timely disposal of pending matters, including references from MPs, PMO, VIPs, Cabinet and State Governments. It will also focus on cleanliness, disposal of old files, proper record management and better use of office space.
Through SCDPM 6, the Ministry of Steel and its CPSEs will work towards reducing pendency, faster disposal of matters, better service delivery and maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
