The 3rd Quarterly Pension Adalat was conducted by the Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), NE-I Telecom Circle, Shillong, at the New Administrative Building of the Office of GMTD, BSNL Mizoram SSA, Aizawl on 03/10/2026 at 11:00 AM.

The Pension Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Shri S. L. Meena, Controller of Communication Accounts, NE-I Telecom Circle, Shillong.

At the beginning of the Adalat, Shri S. L. Meena, CCA, NE-I Telecom Circle, Shillong, and Shri Shubhranil Das, Joint CCA, NE-I Telecom Circle, Shillong, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of timely redressal of pensioners’ grievances and extending necessary assistance to pensioners . During the interaction, pensioners raised their grievances, mainly relating to non-receipt of Fixed Medical Allowance, issues concerning Pension Payment Orders (PPOs), and loss of PPOs.

The grievances raised by the pensioners were taken up during the Adalat and were successfully addressed by the officials of the Office of CCA, NE-I Telecom Circle, Shillong. The Pension Adalat provided an effective platform for direct interaction between pensioners and the concerned authorities and facilitated prompt resolution of their issues.

The Pension Adalat reaffirmed the commitment of the Office of CCA, NE-I Telecom Circle, Shillong, towards responsive, accessible and pensioner-friendly service delivery and timely redressal of pension-related grievances.
