The Department of Posts, Tambaram Division, will conduct a Divisional Level Dak Adalat on October 8, 2026, at 11 AM at the Office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Tambaram Division, Chennai – 600045. The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Shri A. Kamal Basha, as Chairperson, will hear public grievances in person regarding postal products and services.

Customers can submit their complaints to reach the office on or before October 5, 2026. All representations must be sent exclusively via Ordinary or Registered Post, clearly superscribed as “Divisional Dak Adalat” and addressed to Shri A. Kamal Basha, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Tambaram Division, Chennai – 600045. Submissions sent through private couriers will not be accepted.

Grievances regarding postal articles must include complete posting details, sender and addressee addresses, and booking receipt numbers. For Savings Schemes, Postal Life Insurance (PLI), or Rural PLI, complaints must contain the account or policy number, depositor details, and the post office branch name. The Dak Adalat will only consider un-redressed cases previously raised with lower-level post offices; no fresh complaints will be entertained.
