As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Mumbai Licensed Service Area (LSA), organised a series of activities to promote integrity, environmental sustainability, physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
The activities undertaken by DoT Mumbai LSA are as follows:
1. Integrity Pledge
The Integrity Pledge was administered at 11:00 AM on 26 October 2026 in the Conference Hall of DoT Mumbai LSA. All officers of Mumbai LSA participated in the pledge and reaffirmed their commitment to uphold integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in the discharge of their official duties.
2. Tree Plantation Drive
A tree plantation activity was organised at the BSNL Complex, Juhu Tara Road, Santacruz, Mumbai. The plantation drive was carried out by the Additional Director General of Telecommunications (Addl. DGT), Mumbai LSA, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation, green initiatives and sustainable development. The initiative also conveyed the message of collective responsibility towards protecting the environment.
3. 7th Edition of Fit India Freedom Run 2026
DoT Mumbai LSA organised the 7th edition of the Fit India Freedom Run 2026 at Juhu Beach, Mumbai. The event reflected the collective commitment of the participants towards building a fitter, healthier and stronger India. The initiative encouraged physical fitness, an active lifestyle and greater awareness about the importance of health and well-being.
Through these initiatives, DoT Mumbai LSA reiterated its commitment to promoting integrity and ethical values in public service, protecting the environment and encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle. The activities also reinforced the importance of individual and collective participation in nation-building and the creation of a responsible, transparent and healthy society.
