At SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur, a dedicated e-waste collection bin was installed to facilitate the collection of discarded electronic items from employees. The bin itself was fabricated using discarded materials, demonstrating the concept of ‘Waste to Wealth’.
E-waste collection booths were also established in SECL's residential colonies in Bilaspur in, along with door-to-door collection activities to encourage participation by residents. Similar initiatives have been undertaken across SECL's operational areas.
Public Participation and Cleanliness Awareness Activities

As part of the campaign, SECL organised a range of cleanliness and awareness activities across its operational areas, including cleanliness rallies, Shramdaan activities, Nukkad Nataks, school-level competitions, awareness programmes and community participation initiatives.

The campaign also built upon the activities undertaken during Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, held from 17 September to 2 October, during which SECL cleaned more than 55 Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) covering over 10 lakh square feet of area.
The implementation phase of Special Campaign 6 was launched on Gandhi Jayanti, 2 October 2026, with a Swachhata Happy Run, plantation under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ and Swachhata Pledge at SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur.
Strengthening Good Governance and Workplace Efficiency
Special Campaign 6 is being implemented from 2 to 31 October 2026, with emphasis on e-waste management, cleanliness, space optimisation, scrap disposal, record management and reduction of pendency.
Through these initiatives, SECL continues to promote cleaner workplaces, responsible waste management, administrative efficiency and good governance, while encouraging greater participation of employees and communities in cleanliness-related activities.
