PLI/RPLI Services Suspended at Margao Post Offices from November 2 to 8

Margao/ Goa, 28 October 2026

The Department of Posts, Goa Division, has announced a temporary suspension of Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) transactions from November 2 to 8, 2026, at Margao Head Post Office and all post offices functioning under its jurisdiction.

The suspension is being implemented to facilitate the rollout of the new Insurance Management System (IMS) at CPC Margao, scheduled for November 9, 2026.

During this period, customers will not be able to pay PLI/RPLI premiums or carry out other related insurance transactions at Margao Head Post Office or any of the post offices under its jurisdiction. The suspension applies only to these offices.

Customers are advised to plan their premium payments accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.

The Department of Posts regrets the inconvenience caused and seeks the cooperation of all customers.
