The Indian Air Force’s Sarang Helicopter Display Team called on the Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ramen Deka, in Raipur ahead of the Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava 2026 celebrations.
During the interaction, the team briefed the Hon’ble Governor on Sarang’s journey, its participation in national and international events, and its role in showcasing India’s indigenous aviation capabilities through precision flying and synchronised aerial manoeuvres.
The interaction highlighted the Indian Air Force’s ethos of excellence, professionalism and service to the nation, while reinforcing the enduring bond between the Armed Forces and the people of Chhattisgarh.
The Sarang team is in Raipur to participate in the Rajyotsava celebrations. Flying the indigenously developed Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv, the team will showcase the skill, discipline and teamwork that underpin its aerial displays.
The visit forms part of the Indian Air Force’s outreach to connect with citizens and inspire young people to pursue opportunities in the service of the nation.
