Indian Army to Organise Veterans Samman Sampark Rally in Nagpur on March 8

The Indian Army will organise a "Veterans Samman Sampark Rally" on March 8, 2026 at Suresh Bhatt Auditorium, Reshim Bagh Ground, Nagpur, under the aegis of Headquarters Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area (HQ UMANG).
The rally will bring together veterans from Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Amravati and Wardha districts.
The outreach programme aims to address grievances of veterans and provide first-hand information on welfare schemes offered by the Armed Forces as well as the Central and State Governments. Senior military and civil administration officials will attend the event.
Several service and assistance stalls will be set up at the venue, including grievance redressal, medical and dental services, Canteen Stores Department (CSD), Records Offices, SPARSH and PCDA (P) Prayagraj, ECHS, Army Recruiting Office, Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Army Placement Node and stalls by banks and corporate organisations.
Financial assistance will also be provided to Veer Naris, widows and dependent children of ex-servicemen, along with wheelchairs and hearing aids for needy beneficiaries.
All ex-servicemen are invited to attend the rally and are requested to be seated by 9:30 AM on March 8, 2026.
