The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance, has been actively working towards institutionalising Swachhata and minimising pendency in government offices as part of the Special Campaign 5.0 framework. DIPAM has no attached or subordinate offices or Autonomous Bodies under it.

During the period from November 2025 to August 2026, DIPAM focused on timely disposal of pending matters, including Public Grievances and Appeals, Inter-Ministerial and PMO References, and Parliamentary Assurances. Emphasis continued on simplification of procedures, effective record management, and office upkeep activities.

Key achievements during the period include:

Pendency reduction: The Department has successfully disposed of pending Public Grievances, Appeals, Inter-Ministerial and PMO References, and Parliamentary Assurances. As on date, DIPAM has no pending Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) references, Public Grievances, or PMO references.

Swachhata initiatives: Urinal sensors were installed in the washrooms of the Department to improve hygiene and cleanliness standards in the office premises.

Asset management and space optimisation: The Department completed the scrapping of a condemned vehicle. This has freed up valuable parking space within the Department's premises and contributed to better space management.

Awareness and engagement: DIPAM organised Swachhata Pakhwada in January, 2026 during which several competitions and awareness activities were conducted to promote cleanliness and civic responsibility among officials.

These sustained efforts have led to improved cleanliness of office premises, better space utilisation, and zero pendency in key categories of references and grievances.

DIPAM remains committed to the objectives of Special Campaign 6 (to be held from 2nd to 31st October 2026) focusing on Swachhata and reducing pendency. and will continue to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and administrative efficiency.
