The Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 commenced today with the administering of the integrity pledge to the officers and staff of the Central Vigilance Commission by Shri A. S. Rajeev, Central Vigilance Commissioner and Shri Praveen Vashista, Vigilance Commissioner at 11 am at Satarkata Bhawan, New Delhi.

This year, the Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 is being observed from 26^th October to 1^stNovember 2026 on the theme

“सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि”

“Probity for Prosperity”.

The Commission has also advised all Ministries/Departments/ Organizations of the Central Government to undertake a three month preventive vigilance campaign from 17^thAugust to 16^thNovember, 2026, with the following focus areas: (i) Disposal of pending complaints (ii) Disposal of pending cases (iii) Capacity building programs (iv) Digital initiatives, and (v) Contract management to have a meaningful impact on vigilance administration.

As a part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, the Commission has organised a one-day workshop on the topic “Transformation Through Technology” on 30^th October 2026.
