Asian Development Bank (ADB) has prepared the Conceptual Development Plan (CDP) for Vizag-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) project. Four nodes i.e. (i) Visakhapatnam (ii) Machilipatnam (iii) Donakonda and (iv) Chittoor have been identified for development; out of these four nodes, two nodes at Visakhapatnam and Chittoor have been prioritized by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. Initial Master Planning has been completed by ADB for the above two prioritized nodes.

This information was given by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, PiyushGoyal, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
