Pilatus Trainer Aircraft
A contract has been signed with M/s. Pilatus, Switzerland on 24th May, 2012 for procurement of 75 Pilatus PC-7 Mk-ll Basic Trainer Aircraft (BTA) for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
The said aircrafts are likely to be inducted into the Indian Air Force by August, 2015
This information was given by Defence Minister Shri AK Antony in a written reply to Shri PonnamPrabhakar in Lok Sabha today.
