Update as at 03:00 am, on Mumbai serial blasts
Update on serial blasts in Mumbai (Dt.13.7.2011):
• Union Home Minister Mr. P Chidambaram visited 03 blast sites at Kabuttar Khana in Dadar, Opera House and Zaveri Bazar, there after he has visited the Sise hospital. He also conducted a meeting with C.M Maharashtra at Mantralaya.
• Union Home Minister will hold a press conference at 0930 AM today alongwith the Chief Minister, Maharashtra at Sahyadri Guest House.
• It has so far been confirmed by the Mumbai Police that 17 persons have died and another 132 persons are injured as a result of these blasts. These figures are subject to change on the basis of further verifications and confirmations.
• A 6 members NSG post blast investigation team reached Mumbai for spot investigation.
• Seven (07) member team from CFSL from Delhi and 04 member CFSL Team from Pune has also reached Mumbai.
• NIA team of 06 members from Delhi also reached Mumbai.
