The 16^th Lok Sabha elections would be held in the 42 Parliamentary Constituencies of West Bengal on 5 poll days, namely April 17, 24, 30, May 7 and 12, 2014. Polling will be held at  77,241 polling stations spread across  51,174 polling station locations. Out of the state’s total of 6,24,68,988  electors as on 20^th March 2014, 18.51% are in the age group 18–25, while women constitute 47.99%. The poll expenditure limit per candidate for all constituencies in the state is Rs.70 lakhs.
