List of items to be traded through Nathu La border was last expanded in 2012 on a request received from the Government of Sikkim. Department of Commerce is not aware of any further demand to revise the list of tradable items.

The information was given by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
