The Know India Programme (KIP) participants visited Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) during 19th and 28th KIP programme

 

The Know India Programme (KIP) participants visited Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) during 19th and 28th KIP programme. The country-wise details of KIP participants during last three years and current year who visited IGNOU are stated below:

37 overseas youths of Indian origin from 10 countries including Mauritius, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, South Africa, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Kenya, Israel and Australia visited IGNOU, Delhi on 30.12.2011 and met the Vice Chancellor.

 

 

28th KIP

9th June, 2014 to 30th June, 2014

39 overseas overseas youth participants from 10 countries namely Fiji, Israel, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago took part in this programme and visited IGNOU.

 

Know India Progamme is a highly successful programme run by the Ministry and it attracts a large number of overseas youth. Wide publicity is given to this programme through Indian Missions/Posts abroad to enable overseas Indian youths to apply for the same. A total of 866 overseas youths have participated in 28 editions of Know India programme conducted so far.
