Ahuja, Director General Council for Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)
today announced the
prestigious Shantri Swarup Bhatnagar Awards for the Year
2014. The awards were announced during the CSIR’s 72stFoundation day
Celebrations held here in New Delhi. According to it, Ten (10)
scientists have been selected for Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize
for Science and Technology for the year 2014. The Award is given To recognize
outstanding Indian work in Science and Technology and it consists of a cash
prize of Rs. 5 lakh, a citation and a plaque. The Awardees are as under:
