As per the existing Cadre Allocation
Policy, cadre allocation of All India Services officers i.e. IAS, IPS & IFS
to their home state is done on the basis of their rank, order of preference for
cadre indicated by them and availability of insider vacancy in their category
at their turn.
On
the basis of the CSE 2013, the following number of candidates from these states
has been allocated to their home state, on permanent basis:

In
respect of IPS & IFS, cadre allocation on the basis of examination of 2013,
has still not been finalized.
This
was stated by the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances &
Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply to Shri Bodhsingh Bhagat in Lok
Sabha today.
