Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir assumes charge as the Minister of State for Home Affairs
Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir assumed charge as Minister of State for Home Affairs here today. He belongs to state of Maharashtra and is elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from Chandrapur constituency. He is an agriculturist by profession.
Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir had been earlier elected to the Parliament for three times. He has been a Member of various Standing Committees and also served as the Chairperson of Standing Committee on Coal and Steel. Prior to taking over as MoS (Home), Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir served as MoS (Chemicals & Fertilizers) in the current Government.
