A Bypass from Dhanbad to Raipur has been envisaged under Economic Corridor of BharatmalaPariyojana. The approximate length of the road is 707 km. The preparation of Detailed Project Report of the road has started and bids for Bilaspur to Urga section has been invited. The corridor will boost the economy of area which in turn will create various types of job opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs and unemployed people.
