Air Chief Inaugurates Traffic Awareness Exhibition by Eminent
Cartoonist Mangesh Tendulkar at Air Force Bal Bharti School
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal PV Naik inaugurated an exhibition of cartoons by eminent artist, Shri Mangesh Tendulkar, aimed at creating traffic awareness amongst school children, at the Air Force Bal Bharti School (AFBBS), in New Delhi, today. He also released a book ‘Sixty years of space exploration’ by former Director of ISRO, Professor Suresh Naik.
The exhibition will empower children with comprehensive awareness on safe traffic discipline. The cartoons by Pune-based cartoonist are being used in the booklet published by Delhi Police for creating awareness on safe driving.
Cartoons can capture thoughts and expressions that are impossible to put in words, explained Shri Tendulkar. Children from various schools will be witnessing the exhibits at AFBBS in next three days.
