Approval for placing Approach Paper to the Twelfth Five Year Plan before the National Development Council
The Union Cabinet has approved the Planning Commission’s proposal to place the Approach paper to the Twelfth Five Year Plan (2012-17) before the National Development Council (NDC).
The theme of the Approach Paper to the Twelfth Five Year Plan is “faster, sustainable and more inclusive growth”. The Approach Paper has proposed a target of 9 per cent growth for the Twelfth Plan. Health, education and skill development, environment and natural resources and infrastructure development will be focus areas in the Twelfth Plan.
