The Minister of Culture Smt. Chandresh Kumari Katoch
has said that conservation work of the monuments is a continuous process. In a
written reply in the Rajya Sabha today she said, whereas the special repair
works are executed at selected monuments, the routine maintenance works are
attended for all the protected monuments at Goa from the budget allocation to
ASI under ‘Conservation of Ancient Monuments’. The names of protected monuments
at Goa, where conservation works are being attended and expenditure incurred upto 31st July 2013 is as under:
