Joint Working Group against terrorism

India established a Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism with Israel in June 2000. A Joint Working Group with Turkey on Combating Terrorism was established in September 2003. These provide a framework for cooperation with these two countries, including inter-alia, by way of sharing of information and experience, cooperation in preventing terrorist financing, drug trafficking and organised crimes as also through capacity building.
This information was given to Lok Sabha today by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Shri E. Ahamed in reply to a question by Shri Iqbal Ahmed Saradgi and Shri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao.
