The delegations of Indian Railways and Pakistan Railways met in Islamabad from 7th to 9th April, 2007 and agreed to extend the existing Agreement relating to rail communication between India and Pakistan via Attari – Wagah for running of Samjhauta Express for a further period of three years with effect from 20.1.2007 to 19.1.2010.
This information was given by Shri R. Velu, Minister of State for Railways in a written reply to a question in Lok Sbha today.
