New Zealand’s Lamb Elizabeth struck gold in women’s High Jump with a jump of 1.79 meters at the Commonwealth Youth Games 2008 at Balewadi in Pune. Grant Molly of Australia won the Silver with a 1.74 jump while Malaysia’s Binti Kamaruddin Norliyana finished third winning the Bronze.

India’s Michael Stenny finished joint 8^th with a jump of 1.60 meters.
