Shri S. Laxminarayanan, IAS (MP:70), presently Additional Secretary, Department of Information & Technology has been appointed Secretary, Inter-State Council Secretariat, MHA in place of Shri Kamal Pande who retired on 31.10.2004.
Shri Baleshwar Rai, IAS (AGMU:70), presently Additional Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment has been appointed Secretary, Department of Official Language in place of Shri Anupam Dasgupta.
