ACC approves senior level postings and transfers
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following senior level postings of IAS Officers:
Shri Wajahat Habibullah, IAS (JK:68), presently Secretary, Ministry of Textiles has been posted as Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
Shri R.M. Premkumar, IAS (MH:68), presently Chairman, Food Corporation of India has been posted as Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.
Shri P.K. Hota, IAS (OR:69), presently Secretary, Department of Family Welfare will also be Secretary, Department of Health in place of Shri J.V.R. Prasada Rao on his retirement on November 30, 2004.
Shri V.K. Malhotra, IAS (UP:70), presently Managing Director, Food Corporation of India has been made Chairman, Food Corporation of India in the rank and pay of Secretary.
Shri Suresh Chandra, IAS (MH:70), presently Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, Small Scale Industries has been posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests by temporarily upgrading the post vacated by Smt. Veena Chhotray on completion of her central deputation tenure.
