Cabinet approves introduction of amendment of Hindu Succession Act
The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for introducing a Bill of the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Bill, 2004 in Parliament.
The enactment of the proposed legislation will remove certain provisions in law discriminating women in the matter of Hindu Mitakshara coparcenary property.
