President, Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil conferred seven Kirti Chakras and 27 Shaurya Chakras to Armed Forces Personnel and a Civilian for displaying conspicuous gallantry, indomitable courage and extreme devotion to duty at a solemn ceremony in Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi today.

 

            The President also conferred 13 Param Vishisht Seva Medals, two Uttam Yudh Seva Medals and 23 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals to senior officers of the Armed Forces for distinguished service of an exceptional order. The following is the list of awardees:-
