Missing Artifacts from Historic Sites

 

3,676 monuments/sites have been declared as of national importance in the country. State- wise details of centrally protected monuments/ sites are at Annexure-I. List of theft cases during last three year from 2009 to 2011 is at Annexure -II. This information was given by the Minister for Culture and Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation Kumari Selja in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
